Volunteer Opportunities
ReBuild volunteers with all kinds of experience are needed. It’s a great
opportunity to meet other “green-minded” folks of all ages and
to help give back to your community by building environmental
awareness, learning more about homebuilding and repair, and
provide critical service for a locally-based community nonprofit
organization training unskilled workers for a permanent career
in a “green collar” occupation. Volunteers enable ReBuild to
stretch its limited funds further during these tight economic
times.
Just a sample of the activities for which volunteers are needed Include: • Making signs and placing price labels on products• Unloading donated material from ReBuild’s truck and individual donor vehicles • Cleaning and performing minor repairs on donated items • Preparing product displays • Greeting and assisting customers • Assisting guest artists and speakers in setting up their presentation • Staffing ReBuild exhibits at community festivals, fairs, and other events • Preparing pictures and copy for ReBuild website and flyers • Providing orientation for new volunteers • Organizing volunteer appreciation and fundraising events • And much more. If your interested in an opportunity to become a Rebuild volunteer, please send us your filled out ReBuild Volunteer form to Amy's email address or ReBuild's mail address indicated below.
